Today’s #training: My Max Incinerate Circuit Training #Class at Body Max Fitness Center.

Today we did 11 stations which included TRX, Bosu, Kettlebells, the Power Plate, battle ropes, sliders and a tractor tire  Fun stuff!!!

The fastest healthy weight loss rate is 2 pounds per week, then 1 pound, 1/2 pound, 1/4 pound as you get closer to your body’s ideal weight. But I wouldn’t focus on a scale goal because when you lift weights you add muscle to your body and the scale doesn’t take that into account. Instead focus on clothing and how you FEEL within your own body. I used to have the mindset where I HAD to be 125 pounds. That was success to me. But I’ve come to realize that was completely unrealistic for my body type, the way I like to eat and the way I train. The last time I weighed myself was over a year ago and I was 132. I know I’ve gained since then (the doc weighed me at ER when I had my accident); I’m 140 now but I’m wearing the same clothes I did when I was 132 (except for some shorts because my butt has gotten rounder). See how tricky that scale can be? Since I stopped defining myself by that number I’m happier and I feel more comfortable in my own body. I highly suggest you start embracing that mindset.
